Commissioning a custom artwork is such a special thing.
I turn something personal to you into a one-of-a-kind, ocean-inspired, full scene, A2 size (42 cm x 60 cm), hand painted watercolour artwork on premium quality, 300 gsm paper.
Price: $595 AUD
Your favourite beach holiday, that unforgettable dive trip, a special memory, or something just for you. Get a custom ocean artwork and feel it all over again, and again.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1
The first thing you need to do is pick one of the dates I have available and your preferred payment option. I offer making a 50% deposit or the full amount when checking out.
The deposit is a minimum requirement and it ensures I’ll have the right materials that I need to complete your artwork.
step 2
You’ll then see a form pop up asking for some more details. I will always follow up on this and we can chat about what you’ve got in mind. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the details right now.
Then you can complete your checkout.
step 3
Once we agree on the overall design, I get to painting. When your custom ocean art is complete, you will pay any outstanding amount and I will package it up and send it to you.

Yes, of course. Framing can really blow out some costs, especially shipping, so I don’t include it. But, if you want framing, I can give you some recommendations or work with a framer for an additional cost.

I completely understand how personal commissioning a custom artwork is. I always make sure that when planning and designing your custom ocean art, that you’re included in the conversation. After you’ve paid the deposit I will ask you a number of questions, then we can chat and discuss further details before I start painting. Once we’ve agreed to the overall design, then it’s up to me.

Full scene simply means that I will use the whole area of the paper for your artwork. This could mean a landscape or seascape (underwater) style artwork, or incorporating a background.

Custom art takes time and patience, so I only have a few openings for custom art each year. At a minimum I need a 6 week window to design and complete your custom ocean art. If you have a specific request to do it faster, please let me know. I’d like to help if I can, but this won’t always be possible.

Absolutely! Once you order your custom ocean art, we can start discussing the design and you can absolutely share a photo with me to use as a reference.

I use high quality Fabriano watercolour paper, A2 size and 300 gsm (that means heavy weight). I also use a mixture of pigments and paint from Winsor & Newton and Art Philosophy depending on what colours I’m going after.

Your A2 custom ocean artwork will be rolled and shipped through Australia Post.

Unfortunately I cannot accept returns for original custom ocean artworks.
